Out of the Blue's "Dead Gnome" line features garden gnomes with pistols in their mouths, or holding up the dripping heads of decapitated brethren, industriously sawing their own hands off, hanging from a gibbet, grinning glassily at the arrow that's pierced their heads, and so on. It's the wet, happy grins that get me. Dead Gnome (Thanks, Alice!)...

Although Michael Jackson's upcoming funeral will surely be a feeding frenzy for photographers, it'll be hard to beat this photo op from today's burial ceremony for TV pitchman Billy Mays. With their khakis and rolled-up long-sleeve blue shirts, the pallbearers gave a fitting homage to the uniform that was almost as memorable as Mays' well-manicured beard. Mays died at his home June 28 from apparent natural causes. According to the Associated Press , which distributed the photo, Mays' eulogy covered everything from childhood memories to his devout Christian faith to his personal mantras like, "Life's a pitch, and then you buy." —Posted by David Griner

What's that, you say? Why, it's the weekly videocast roundup over at Gamebreaker , of course. Gary Gannon is your host, and he's joined by series regulars Mike B. and Mike Schaffnit. The trio discuss anything and everything relating to popular MMOs, including Star Wars: The Old Republic's Ilum-related troubles, Sony Online Entertainment's noises about selling user-generated content, and the upcoming Guild Wars 2 beta. The guys also get around to talking about Blizzard's ongoing Titan project, and more specifically, the speculation surrounding in-game advertising. The full show is yours after the break.
American Independence Day is tomorrow. It's a day for drinking beer (according to Sloshspot , Americans drink more beer on July 4 than on any other day of the year), grilling out and hanging with family and loved ones. So to all AC's American friends we say -- go do some of the above tomorrow. And to all our outside of America friends we say -- why not go do some of the above tomorrow, too? In the immortal words of Bartles and Jaymes themselves, we thank you for your support. See you on Monday. .
